To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Water Lane, Ospringe.
A closure is planned from 13th February 2024, for up to one day, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC005WDJT113F-02 Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network
Water Lane will be closed in the vicinity of the water pumping station, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Painters Forstal Road, Eastling Road, Whitehill, Brogdale Road, A2 London Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
