Temporary Road Closure – C452 Canterbury Road, Dunkirk – 13th February 2023 (Swale District)

It will be necessary to close part of Canterbury Road, Dunkirk from 13th February 2023, with estimated completion by 1st June 2023.

C452 Canterbury Road, Dunkirk will be closed between the junctions with Horselees Road and Courteney Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for vehicles travelling eastbound is via The Street, Stockers Hill, Canterbury Road, A2 Boughton Bypass westbound, A2 Boughton Bypass Eastbound, London Road (Upper Harbledown), Upper Harbledown slip, A2 Dover Road (westbound), Dunkirk Slip Westbound and Canterbury Road.

The alternative route for vehicles travelling westbound is via Canterbury Road, A2 Boughton Bypass (Eastbound), London Road (Upper Harbledown), Upper Harbledown slip, A2 Dover Road (Westbound), A2 Boughton Bypass (Westbound),A2 Boughton Bypass (Eastbound) and Canterbury Road.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sheet piling and carriageway & footway reconstruction works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
