Selling Road, Selling (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER MARCH 2024


To allow replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Selling Road, Selling.

A closure is planned from 11th March 2024, for up to 2 days, between the hours of 08.00 and 16.00, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC411004WDLF0V4T-02 Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Selling Road will be closed in the vicinity of The Coach House, Brookes Croft, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Selling Road, Winding Hill, Newhouse Lane, Ashford Road, Canterbury Road, Selling Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
