B2040 Crescent Road, Faversham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER MARCH 2024


To allow resurfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of the B2040 Crescent Road, Faversham.

Closures are planned on 3 consecutive Sundays – 10th March 2024, 17th March 2024 & 24th March 2024, between the hours of 18.00 and 05.00, or where stated on a valid Permit (GE70537828747-02 – Kent County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

B2040 Crescent Road will be closed between Court Street and East Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2040 East Street, Whitstable Road, Love Lane, A2 Canterbury Road, London Road (Ospringe Street), B2040 Ospringe Road, South Road, North Lane, Conduit Street, Quay Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
