Selling Road, Selling (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2025


To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Selling Road, Selling.

A closure is planned from 28th April 2025, for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or where stated on a valid Permit
(BC008PLT1952610110062023-02 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Selling Road will be closed between the junctions with Featherbed Lane and Vicarage Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Selling Road, A2 Canterbury Road, A251 Ashford Road, Newhouse Lane, Hogbens Hill, Selling Street, The Street, Selling Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
