Priory Row & Barnfield Road, Faversham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2023


UK Power Networks works.

To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Priory Row & Barnfield Road, Faversham.

Closures are planned from 24th October 2023, with estimated completion by 29th October 2023, or where stated on a valid Permit (KZ50055312066-02UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Priory Row will be closed between Ham Road and Barnfield Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Barnfield Road will be closed at the junction with Priory Row, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

The alternative route for vehicles accessing Priory Row is via Davington Hill, Dark Hill, Bysing Wood Road, B2045 Western Link, Oare Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for vehicles accessing Barnfield Road is via Davington Hill, Curtis Way, West Street, B2040 North Lane, Bridge Road, Bramblehill Road and Reedland Crescent.

The alternative route for vehicles accessing from Barnfield Road onto Priory Way is via Reedland Crescent, Bramblehill Road, Brent Road and Brent Hill.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
