KENT COUNTY COUNCIL Butlers Hill, Dargate (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023


Openreach works.

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Butlers Hill, Dargate.

A closure is planned from 27th November 2023, with estimated completion by 28th November 2023, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC008PTMS474067-01 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Butlers Hill will be closed between Dargate Road and Crockham Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Church Hill, Staplestreet Road,

The Street, Canterbury Road, Courtenay Road, Dargate Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
