Cyprus Road, Gordon Square & Westgate Road, Faversham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER SEPTEMBER 2023

Kent County Council works.

To allow footway preservation treatment works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Cyprus Road, Gordon Square & Westgate Road, Faversham.

Restrictions are planned from 18th September 2023, with estimated completion by 21st September 2023, between the hours of 07.00 and 17.00, or where stated on valid Permits (GE40113016344-02, GE40113016346-02 & GE40113016345-02 – Kent County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Cyprus Road & Gordon Square will be closed from 18th September 2023, with estimated completion by 20th September 2023.

The roads will be closed between Whitstable Road and outside number 1 Gordon Square, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Westgate Road will be closed from 19th September 2023, with estimated completion by 21st September 2023.

The road will be closed in its entirety.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway preservation treatment works are undertaken by Kent
County Council.

There is no alternative route for these closures, however, residential access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
