Become a volunteer driver
As a Volunteer Minibus Driver you will become part of the all-important community transport team in Faversham and the surrounding villages. You will be helping residents to access local shops and services, ensuring they do not suffer social isolation.
Flexible hours are available so you can support your community around your schedule.
We are looking for individuals over 25 years old who have the following qualities:
- Friendly, empathetic nature
- Willingness to help others
- Smart appearance
- Valid driving licence
In return for your time, you will get the following:
- MIDAS training.
- Experience in a helping role
- Joining a supportive team of staff and volunteers
- Knowing you are helping people to live independently and avoid isolation
- Reimbursement of your expenses
Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check will be required.
