To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Upper St Anns Road, Faversham.
A closure is planned from 20th April 2025, with estimated completion by 21st April 2025, between the hours of 00:30 and 04:00, or where stated on a valid Permit (KL820VIR-51-41-200425-01 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network
Upper St Anns Road will be closed between the junction with Athelstan Road and the railway line, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
