The B2040 Ospringe Road, Faversham will be closed from 23.00 hours on 30th September 2023, with an estimated completion by 04.00 hours on 2nd October 2023.

The diversion route for the works below has been amended:

A2 London Road, B2041 The Mall, Forbes Road, Station Road, Newton Road, B2040 Crescent Road, Court Street, Quay Lane, Conduit Street, North Lane, South Road, Ospringe Road and vice versa.

Temporary Road Closure – B2040 Ospringe Road, Faversham5th June 2023 (Swale District)

It will be necessary to close part of B2040 Ospringe Road, Faversham from 5th June 2023, with estimated completion by 27th July 2023.

A full road closure will be required from 23.59 hours on 10th June 2023 to 04.00 hours on 12th June 2023.

B2040 Ospringe Road, Faversham will be closed in the vicinity of the railway bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via A2 London Road, Canterbury Road, B2040 Love Lane, Whitstable Road, East Street, Crescent Road, Court Street, Quay Lane, Conduit Street, North Lane, South Road and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge strengthening works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
