St Marys Road, Faversham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER FEBRUARY 2024 Southern Water works.


To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of St Marys Road, Faversham.

A closure is planned from 9th February 2024, with estimated completion by 10th February 2024, between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00, or where stated on a valid Permit (LQ003SWAT13082974-01 – Southern Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

St Marys Road will be closed from the junction of William Street, to the junction of Solomons Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by Southern Water.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via St Marys Road, Station Road, B2041 Newton Road, B2040 East Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
