Plumpudding Lane, Dargate (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2023


To allow overhead structure works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Plumpudding Lane, Dargate.

A closure is planned from 18th July 2023, for up to one day, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC005WDLHJK3S-06 Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Plumpudding Lane will be closed in the vicinity of George Bell Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead structure works are undertaken by Openreach.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plumpudding Lane, Dargate Road, Courtenay Road, Canterbury Road, Staplestreet Road, Staple Street, Head Hill Road, Seasalter Road, Monkshill Road, Highstreet Road, Plumpudding Lane and vice versa.
