To allow inspection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pettfield Hill Road & Almhouse Road, Throwley.
Closures are planned from 16th January 2024, for up to one day, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or where stated on a valid Permit
(BC008PTMS528521A-01 & BC008PTMS528521B Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network
Pettfield Hill Road will be closed between the junctions of Heel Road and Old Hockley Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Almhouse Road will be closed between the junctions of Throwley Road and Pettfield Hill Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while inspection works are undertaken by Openreach.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pettfield Hill Road, Old Hockley Road, Church Road, Stalisfield Road, Haywards Hill, Throwley Road (Bagshill Road) and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
