National Highways Motorway Closure Notice

We’re updating you on our planned overnight closures to several of the all lane running motorways we’re adding new emergency areas to.

Please do consider these closures when planning your journey.

Our overnight closures usually start from 9pm and finish by 5.30am Monday to Thursday and 11pm to 6am Friday but this can change depending on the volume of traffic and when we can close the road safely.

We are always looking to improve our customer’s experiences and journeys through our roadworks, so please do complete this short survey.

Week commencing 6 May 2024:

  • M4 junction 10 to 12 – the M4 junction 10 to 12 southbound including all relevant slip and linking roads will be closed overnight on Thursday 9 May 2024.
  • M4 junction 11 to 10 – the M4 junction 11 to 10 northbound including all relevant slip and linking roads will be closed overnight on Friday 10 May 2024.

Week commencing 13 May 2024:

  • M25 junction 24 clockwise exit slip road – the M25 junction 24 clockwise exit slip will be closed overnight on Monday 13, Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15, Thursday 16 and Friday 17 May 2024.
  • M4 junction 10 to 12 – the M4 junction 10 to 12 southbound including all relevant slip and linking roads will be closed overnight on Wednesday 15 May 2024.
  • M4 junction 11 to 10 – the M4 junction 11 to 10 northbound including all relevant slip and linking roads will be closed overnight on Thursday 16 May 2024.
  • M25 junction 25 to 27 – the M25 junction 25 to 27 clockwise including all relevant slip and linking roads will be closed overnight on Saturday 18 May 2024.
  • M25 junction 27 to 25 – the M25 junction 27 to 27 anti-clockwise including all relevant slip and linking roads will be closed overnight on Sunday 19 May 2024.

Week commencing 20 May 2024:

  • M25 junction 24 clockwise exit slip road – the M25 junction 24 clockwise exit slip will be closed overnight on Monday 20, Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 May 2024.

Our diversion routes are designed to suit all vehicle types.

We advise you not to use a Satnav when following any of our diversions because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto our network when it is closed.

Please remember on Friday 10 May to Monday 13 May – the M25 will be closed for a weekend.

From 9pm Friday 10 May to 6am Monday 13 May, there will be a full closure of the M25 in both directions between junction 9 (Leatherhead) and junction 10 (Wisley). For the most up to date information please visit: www.nationalhighways.co.uk/m25j10.
