Lower Road, Teynham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2024 Openreach works.

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Road, Teynham.

A closure is planned from 18th November 2024, with estimated completion by 19th November 2024, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC411001WFGDPR0B-01 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Lower Road will be closed in the vicinity of Whent’s Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while telegraph pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Road, The Crescent, Station Road, A2 London Road, B2045 Western Link, Oare Road,

The Street, Colegates Road, Bysing Wood Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
