Kent County Council – Temporary 40 mph Speed Restriction – A299 Thanet Way, Hernhill & Yorkletts – 20th November 2023 (Swale & Canterbury Districts)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to impose a temporary mandatory 40 mph speed restriction on part of A299 Thanet Way, Hernhill & Yorkletts, on or after 20th November 2023, with estimated completion by 9th December 2023.

A temporary mandatory 40 mph speed restriction will be imposed from the Fostall eastbound on-slip to 400 metres east of the Dargate Services, in both directions, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while improvement works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
