Members who have an interest to declare on any items on the Agenda, must declare the existence and nature of it at the start of the meeting and act in accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct (s27 Localism Act 2011). 

  1. Town Council Minutes  

To receive and accept as a true record the Minutes of the Town Council Meeting held on 14th October 2024 and any matters for report. 

  1. Mayor’s Announcements 

To receive the Mayor’s Announcements. 

  1. Community Committee 

To receive the Minutes of the Community Committee dated 21st October 2024 and agree any recommendations. 

  1. Heritage, Buildings and Creek Committee 

To receive the Minutes of the Heritage Buildings and Creek Committee dated 2nd November 2024 and agree any recommendations. 

  1. Policy and Resources Committee 

To receive the Minutes of the Policy and Resources Committee dated 4th November 2024 (tabled) and agree any recommendations. 

To note the approval of the Residents’ Survey Results Report. 

To note the conclusion of the 2023/2024 Annual Governance and Accountability Return – no matters raised.  

  1. Revision of the Faversham Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan 
    To receive the report and agree recommendations to the revised LCWIP. 
  1. Government Consultation 

The Government is consulting on introducing powers for local authority members (including parish and town councils) to apply to the relevant authority for a dispensation to attend formal council meetings remotely and vote by proxy in certain circumstances.

  1. Review of Polling Stations 

To consider a response to the consultation reviewing polling stations. The aim of the review is to ensure electors have reasonable facilities for voting as are practicable in the circumstances; and as far as reasonable and practicable, polling places are accessible to all electors, and consider the needs of people with disabilities.

  1. Private Session 

To RESOLVE that under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, the public and representatives of the press and broadcast media be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following items of business as publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest because of the sensitive nature of the business to be transacted.  

  1. Staffing Committee 

To receive the minutes of the Staffing Committee dated 4th November 2024 (tabled)
