EAST STREET & CHURCH ROAD, FAVERSHAM TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)


Kent County Council gives notice that East Street & Church Road, Faversham will be closed to through traffic, on or after 14th August 2023 for up to 1 night.

The roads will be closed at the junction where they meet.

The alternative route for vehicles accessing East Street is via; B2041 Newton Road, Station Road, Forbes Road, The Mall, A2 Canterbury Road, B2040 Love Lane, Whitstable Road and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.

Access to Church Road will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

This closure is necessary to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
