Cllr Becky Jones

Becky was born in NE Wales and lived there for 18 years, throwing herself into all the outdoor activities that were available in the area.

Moving to Staffordshire University to study for a BA (Hons) in Development and Environmental Studies, Becky then achieved a couple of post graduate degrees and an LLM, Masters in Gender, Sexuality and Human Rights Law. Staying in Staffordshire for around 25 years, Becky and her family lived in a rural village in the Peak District for 15 years of those 25 years, before moving to Faversham in 2022. Becky has loved getting to know the town and being involved in lots of local activities.

Working for the NHS, Becky specialises in the areas of social value and sustainability. Working across the country, sharing best practice and focusing on reducing health inequalities and strengthening communities, Becky’s focus is ensuring the longevity of the NHS and other public services.

Becky has previously worked in local government, in the areas of equality and diversity and partnership working and is passionate about fairness, inclusivity and equality for all.

In her spare time, Becky loves going to the theatre and watching live music, as well as going out for meals with friends and family.
