To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Faversham.

Restrictions are planned from 19.00 hours on 8th June 2023, with estimated completion by 06.00 hours on 9th June 2023, or where stated on a valid Permit (LQ003SWAT11976617-04 – Southern Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Church Road will be closed at the junction with East Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The restrictions on Church Road will be in conjunction with temporary traffic signals placed on East Street.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by Southern Water.

There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.
