Beech Close, Ospringe Road & B2040 Lower Road, Faversham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER AUGUST 2024



Kent County Council works.
To allow installation works, resurfacing, drainage and road marking works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beech Close, Ospringe Road & B2040 Lower Road, Faversham.

Closures are planned from 30th August 2024, with estimated completion by 28th September 2024, or where stated on valid Permits
(GE40190210843A, GE40190210844A-02 & GE40190210942 – Kent County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network


Beech Close will be closed from 19.00 hours on 30th August 2024, with estimated completion by 05.00 hours on 31st August 2024.

The road will be closed from the junction with Lower Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stonebridge Way, Curtis Way, West Street, B2040 South Road, Lower Road and vice versa (using Napleton Road and Tanners Street).

Ospringe Road & B2040 Lower Road will be closed from 19.00 hours on 27th September 2024, with estimated completion by 05.00 hours on 28th September 2024.

The roads will be closed at the junction where they meet, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stonebridge Way, Curtis Way, West Street, B2040 South Road, Lower Road and vice versa (using Napleton Road and Tanners Street).

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation works, resurfacing, drainage and road marking
works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
