Kent County Council gives notice that Ashford Road, Faversham will be closed to through traffic, on or after 30th October 2025 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed between Aldi Roundabout and A2 Canterbury Road between the hours of 20:00 – 05:00.
The alternative route is via Ashford Road, M2 Junction 6 To Junction 7 On Slip, M2 J6 Join E, M2 Through Junction 6 From Junction 5, M2 Junction 7 From Junction 6 Off Slip, M2 Through J7 To A299 E, M2 J7 Leave E, Brenley Corner, A2 M2 J7 Roundabout, A2 London Road, Canterbury Road.
Non Motorway Traffic: A251 Ashford Road, Newhouse Lane, Hogbens Hill, Winding Hill, Selling Street, The Street, Selling Road, A2 Canterbury Road and vice versa. Extra cones, Signage and Gatemen at both Salters lane junctions advising no HGV route.
This closure is necessary to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.
This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
