To allow resurfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A299 Thanet Way, Graveney.
A closure is planned from 1st April 2025, with estimated completion by 8th April 2025, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00, or where stated on a valid Permit (GE70589182744-01 – Kent County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network
A299 Thanet Way slip roads will be closed Coastbound and Londonbound, in the vicinity of Brenley Corner, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via M2 J7-J6, M2 J6, A251 Ashford Road, M2 J6-J7, M2 J7 and A2 Brenley Corner Roundabout.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
