To allow the Highways & Transportation High Speed Road Programme to take place, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit throughtraffic, in phases, on part of A299 Thanet Way, Canterbury & Swale.
This order takes effect on or after 1st May 2026 for up to 18 months, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. It may be necessary for some of the roads to be closed on multiple occasions for each phase of the works. Planned dates will be published in advance of the works on One.Network and indicated by signage displayed on site 14 days before they start.
