A Message from the Mayor of Faversham

Coronavirus

I would like to give a message to all the people of Faversham.

Firstly can I say how proud I am of how our community has come together so wonderfully to offer help to those who are especially vulnerable – the old, those who are alone, those who can’t easily get out, and those who need to self isolate. I am seeing examples every day of individuals and community groups going out of their way to help others. With this sort of community help we can be confident of getting through this dreadful time all together.

I know advice is changing day to day and may sometimes be confusing but do please try to keep up to date with the latest expert advice and do keep to it as closely as you possibly can. If you are uncertain you can always go online to NHS 111 https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 or call 111 if you are showing severe symptons. Local organisations which may be able to help include:

Age UK tel: 01795 532766 Swale Borough Council tel: 01795 417850

God bless you all. We will get through this together

The Mayor of Faversham, Cllr Mrs Alison Reynolds BEM
