West Street, Faversham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER MARCH 2026 South East Water works.


To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of West Street, Faversham.

A closure is planned from 16th March 2026, with estimated completion by 17th March 2026, or where stated on a valid Permit (EB00638948924-03 – South East Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage
displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

West Street will be closed in the vicinity of number 36, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by South East Water.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Caslocke Street, Hatch Street, Napleton Road, Tanners Street and B2040 South Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
