Clockhouse Lane, Boughton Under Blean (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025 Openreach works.


To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clockhouse Lane, Boughton Under Blean.

A closure is planned from 9th June 2025, for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or where stated on a valid Permit
(BC008PLT2500782324032024-03 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Clockhouse Lane will be closed at the junction with Selling Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Clockhouse Lane, Selling Road, Brenley Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
