Brogdale Road, Ospringe (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2025 Openreach works.


To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brogdale Road, Ospringe.

A closure is planned from 28th May 2025, for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or where stated on a valid Permit
(BC008PLT2500842324032024-01 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Brogdale Road will be closed between the junction with Porters Lane and the track leading to Brogdale Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Brogdale Road, A2 London Road, A2 Canterbury Road, A251 Ashford Road, A251 Faversham Road, A252 Canterbury Road, A252 Charing Hill, A20 Maidstone Road, A20 Ashford Road, Rayners Hill, Waterditch Lane, Warren Street, Bunce Court Road, Otterden Road,

The Street, Eastling Road, Whitehill and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
