Upper St Anns Road, Faversham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER JANUARY 2025


To allow rail works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Upper St Anns Road, Faversham.

A closure is planned from 26th January 2025 between the hours of 00:30 and 06:00, with estimated completion by 27th January 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 04:00, or where stated on a valid Permit (KL820VIR-51-41-260125-01- Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed
on One.Network

Upper St Anns Road will be closed 20m either side of the railway bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
