RAC Forestry Ltd works.
To allow tree felling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Throwley Road, Throwley (known locally as Bagshill Road).
A closure is planned from 12th August 2024, with estimated completion by 15th August 2024, or where stated on a valid Permit (GE10094530615-01 – RAC Forestry Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network
Throwley Road will be closed from the junction with Haywards Hill, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree felling works are undertaken by RAC Forestry Ltd.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Parsonage Stocks Road, Wilgate Green Road, Throwley Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
