Various Roads – Graveney & Boughton under Blean (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER SEPTEMBER 2024 Swale Borough Council works.


To allow street cleansing and litter picking works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on various roads in Graveney & Boughton under Blean.

Closures are planned from 23rd September 2024, for a period of up to 18 months, or until works have been completed. Planned dates will be indicated in advance by signage displayed on site 14 days before the works start.

SCHEDULE

Brenley Lane, Boughton under Blean
The road will be closed from the junction with South Street to the junction with Selling Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Brenley Lane, Clockhouse Lane, Selling Road and vice versa.

Homestall Lane, Graveney
The road will be closed from the junction with Whitstable Road to the junction with Brenley Corner Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on
site.

The alternative route is via Graveney Road, B2040 Love Lane, A2 Canterbury Road, London Road, Brenley Corner Roundabout and vice versa.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while street cleansing and litter picking works are undertaken by Swale Borough Council.
