Faversham & District Community Lottery Celebrates 4 Years of Supporting Local Causes
The Faversham & District Community Lottery is marking its fourth anniversary with a heartfelt thank you to all supporters who have helped raise over £150,000 for local good causes.
Since its launch, the lottery has provided much-needed funding to over 60 local charities and community groups, helping to strengthen and enhance our community. Happy Endings Rescue, one of the participating organisations, expressed their gratitude:
“Thank you so very much to everyone who supports us through the Faversham & District Community Lottery. We rely completely on the generosity of the public to survive. Our aim is to save as many animals as possible, and our work can only continue with your help. Together, we can make a difference.”
Not only does every ticket purchased support these vital organisations, but it also gives players a chance to win up to £25,000 every week! Tickets cost just £1, with 60p from every ticket going directly to local causes—far more than most other lotteries.
Mayor of Faversham, Cllr Josh Rowlands, praised the initiative:
“Your support, no matter how big or small, makes a lasting impact on the people of Faversham. Thank you for being part of this vital community initiative. Here’s to another year of making a difference together!”
