Part of Faversham Active Travel Month this will be a gentle walk for women around Faversham Creek
As part of Faversham Active Travel Month throughout June, we are excited to host a guided walk for women, as research shows that sadly many women do not feel safe accessing remote locations alone.
Meeting at Standard Quay outside Customs House, ready to set off at 10.30am. We will head out along the creek towards Nagden do a loop around the water treatment works and head back through the boatyard so the walk will be approximately 5km. It will be at a leisurely pace as we will be taking time to stop and observe the birds we see and hear along the way. Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on the walk, but they will need to be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance to nesting birds and other creekside wildlife.
It is free to attend but spaces are limited so please book your place via Eventbrite: Womens Wildlife Walk – Faversham Tickets, Wed, Jun 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM | Eventbrite
