A walk round Faversham Creek, Friday 12th July, 7pm
A continuous walking route around Faversham Creek is an ambition of the both the current Creek Neighbourhood Plan and the new Faversham Neighbourhood Plan which is due to go to referendum in the next few months. Much of the creekside is also now part of the King Charles 111 England Coast Path, which will eventually provide a continuous coastal walk around England.
As well as offering an enjoyable walk round the Creek this will be an opportunity to look at improvements in public access to the Creek that have been achieved in the last few years and to see what still needs to be done in order to create a continuous Creekside path.
Meet Standard Quay 7pm Friday 12 July. Walk is expected to take about an hour.
Led by Councillor Julian Saunders, Vice Chair, Faversham Town Council Active Travel Committee.
