Live and Love Art is organising a ‘stroll, snap and sketch’.
Saturday 7th June at 10.30am. £5 per person – drawing materials included. Meeting at Faversham War Memorial Gardens, Stone Street, ME13 8PR at 10.15am for a 10.30am start, returning approx. 12.30pm. Circular walk. Car parking not included. Book by emailing contact@liveandloveart.co.uk
Big skies, creek and marsh; Faversham is not only full of historic architecture, but healthy ‘blue green’ spaces too. Come along to walk as an observer, in the fascinating environment that Faversham offers both the eye and mind. See how your visual creativity might be encouraged by it and experience the mental rewards of taking photos and making drawings, whilst out and about.
We’ll start at The Memorial Garden and stroll to Stonebridge Pond, taking photos along the way and finding places enroute for sketchers to return to at a later date. Stopping at The Brents to enjoy some quiet time, we’ll sit with the enchanting willow trees, observing and drawing our surroundings (materials will be supplied). Should the weather be poor, we’ll shelter in The Guildhall, photographing views outside and drawing the hustle and bustle of Market Place.
