We are excited to announce our brand-new fruit fairs this year! On 9th-10th August we have our first Plum Fair at Brogdale Farm.
Come and find out all about wonderful plums. This one-off opportunity to pick your own plums from the National Fruit Collection (rather than the Brogdale Collections orchards). We have fruit tastings, guided tours of the National Fruit Collection, plum displays, expert talks, food and drink, free kids’ orchard crafts and tractor trailer rides. You can also try some outdoor cooking on an open fire with Wild Classroom. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn about plums and gages and discover rare and unique plum varieties not available in supermarkets! There are over 300 plum and gage varieties in the National Fruit Collection. Children are FREE to this event.
