
The Town Council is delighted to present the Faversham Festival of Transport 2026, taking place in the heart of Faversham on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May, 10.00am to 4.00pm.
Founded in 1995, the festival has grown to become a highlight of Faversham’s calendar, celebrating the history and variety of transport from vintage classics to military vehicles with a fun, family-friendly programme.
Event Highlights:
Saturday – Free Vintage Bus Rides
Enjoy nostalgic rides around Faversham on vintage buses a fun experience for families, vehicle enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a unique day out. Bus Timetables are available to download or pick up from the Visitor Information Centre.



Saturday – Faversham Charter Market
Browse a vibrant market featuring local traders, food stalls, and crafts while soaking up the festival atmosphere.

Saturday – New Features!
Faversham Town Council is excited to announce new features. Visitors can enjoy a fantastic display of iconic vehicles, including cars from Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and Cars, featuring Lightning McQueen. Also on display will be the Arthur bus from South East Coachworks, where you can pick up your free Saturday bus timetables and park and ride information. Don’t miss this fun and family-friendly addition to the weekend!



Sunday – Main Car Show
See a spectacular display of vintage vehicles, classic cars, military vehicles, and steam engines. Perfect for enthusiasts and families alike.
New Display at The Assembly Rooms
Visit the Assembly Rooms for the Model Railway Exhibition, featuring an all-new display this year. More information will be shared soon!
