The Assembly Rooms are a versatile venue whose main hall is ideal for a wide variety of events such as concerts, wedding receptions, corporate hospitality, rehearsals, drama clubs parties, yoga and pilates classes, bridge drives, children’s parties, recordings and photoshoots.
Just a few minutes walk from the mainline railway station with fast trains (approx. 1 hour) to London St. Pancras and Victoria, the Italianate Assembly Rooms have recently been restored to their original 1840s splendour. Canterbury and Whitstable are only 15 minutes away by car.
The Faversham Assembly Rooms are available for private hire and offer an elegant setting for corporate hospitality events, weddings, receptions, dinners, concerts and more.
The main Assembly Room floor space covers 16.5m by 8.5m. There are 120 upholster chairs available, with a limited number of tables, a seated balcony, green room and our featured grand piano.
The venue features a modern fully fitted kitchen, store room, 3 ladies toilets, 2 males toilets and 1 disabled toilet.
The building has disabled wheelchair access and limited parking for deliveries at the rear, but is close to long term car parking.
