Description
The Arden, Faversham’s Theatre, is run by the community for the community. As volunteers, administering the charity (number 274906) we promote the advancement and improvement of general education in relation to all aspects of performing arts and the enjoyment and appreciation of them. We have a free flourishing youth theatre who meet weekly for classes in theatre and drama training; in addition to performing their own shows. We currently produce 8 shows a year and hold annual playwriting festivals and youth theatre challenges. The Arden is a thriving and vibrant centre of culture for the town and are pleased to be closely linked with the prestigious Faversham Fringe and Literary Festivals. We are pleased, also, to be an intimate venue of choice for international touring companies and artistes.
