Painters Forstal Community Hall is a state-of-the-art building that boasts modern amenities and ample space for all sorts of activities. It is equipped with a large, versatile main hall that can be divided into two completely separate rooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a wonderful, light and airy entrance lobby that is perfect for smaller groups and meetings. Floor to ceiling bi-folding doors open on to a covered patio and beautiful garden area looking over the surrounding Kent countryside.
Every Tuesday we have our regular ‘Communi-Tea & Biscuits’ from 1pm to 3pm. It is free but donations are welcome. And every other Wednesday at 1pm we have our Canasta Club, offering friendship and laughter while playing the classic card game. Canasta is part of the rummy family and combines strategy, teamwork and, of course, a bit of luck. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newbie you are welcome to join us. It costs £3 per person and refreshments will be available. Other activities include Pilates, Qigong and Boxercise. And Little Poppins Preschool starts at the hall in September.
