Faversham Salvation Army

Whatever your story, age, experiences, you are welcome! Faversham Salvation Army has a very simple mission – to love everyone, serve our community and share the message of Jesus; bringing the momentum of the Gospel to the town of Faversham and beyond.

The Salvation Army is a worldwide Christian church and registered charity, which has been fighting against social inequality and transforming lives for over 150 years.

Motivated by our Christian faith we offer practical support and services to all who need them, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

Faversham Salvation Army was pioneered by Jon and Beth Munn in late 2018. From the very first days of this fresh expression of The Salvation Army, the desire to bring the ‘momentum’ of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was very much at the forefront of all planning.

We aim to support this wonderful town and its needs in any way we can. Our underlying aim is to represent the love and compassion that was exemplified in the life of Jesus Christ.

We aim to utilise every form of technology to communicate and share a message of love and hope in the world that we live in today.

Gathering regularly on Mondays at 7pm. You are welcome to come along for food, friendship, community and a place to call home.
