The Army Cadet Force is a youth organisation sponsored by the Ministry of Defence. Cadets aged 12 to 18 embark on a training syllabus which includes military subjects, 1st aid, Duke of Edinborough Award and Community work. All designed to give young people new skills, confidence and experiences they would otherwise not get. There are several weekends away each year and 2 weeks annual camp in the summer.
