Description
The popular Royal Cinema was built as an Odeon in 1935, opened in 1936.

Since that time, various operators and owners have taken on the site. The current owners Peter & Michael have operated The Royal since February 1994.

The Royal has 440 seats with one large screen. We have Barco Digital Projection and 5.1 + 7.1 Dolby Digital Audio.

Twice a month Faversham Film Society join us for the popular Monday night films, often foreign language, subtitles and more niche.

We try to screen the more upmarket fayre and good quality family films at weekends and during school holidays.

With our mock tudor auditorium, relaxed feel and friendly staff, be sure to check in to the Royal.

You can book online for most events, we accept cash and card payments.
We also screen live theatre events from NTLive, CinemaLive and More2Screen.
