Shepherd Neame – Britain’s Oldest Brewer
Shepherd Neame is proud to be sponsoring the Faversham Festival of Transport for another
year. You’ll have the chance to see its collection of vintage vehicles on Sunday 19th May,
displayed outside its Court Street Visitor Centre in the heart of the town.
Britain’s oldest brewer has had a long association with the event, and with Faversham – it has
been based here for more than 300 years,
If you’re in town for the weekend, why not discover the secrets of the historic brewery with an
award-winning brewery tour?
A tour offers a chance to take in the historic site, and learn all about the independent
brewer and pub company, as well as see inside the Old Brewery Store, which features
impressive displays of historic delivery vehicles, a recreated coopers’ workshop, bygone pub
signs and a collection of hop picking memorabilia.
It ends back in the Visitor Centre with a tutored tasting, after which visitors have the chance
to visit the Brewery Shop and pick up a souvenir. The experience was awarded a Hidden
Gem accolade from Visit England in October 2022/
And once you’ve tasted the beers on offer, you can head to one of the brewer’s nine pubs
in the historic market town of Faversham, all within walking distance.
Best known for great British classic ales such as Spitfire Amber Ale, which carries the Royal
Warrant, its diverse portfolio includes Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale, Spitfire Lager, and the
Whitstable Bay Collection. It also brews international lagers under licence including the
original Thai lager Singha.

Faversham Festival of Transport will take place this year on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of May and we are offering three sponsorship packages for business to support this hugely successful annual event. With up to 340 vehicles taking part and hundreds of visitors to Faversham over the weekend, our sponsors benefit from high profile coverage during the event, and also through our social media feeds, websites and advance publicity throughout the South East.
Elite Package £750 + VAT
– can be paid in full or over 3 monthly payments of £250
Each Elite sponsor will receive the following benefits:
- Company logo will appear on pre-event adverts on Faversham Festival of Transport, Faversham Town Council and Visit Faversham social media sites, as soon as payment has been received in full, or the first payment paying in three instalments.
- Your company details, 250 words of text, company logo will be featured on our dedicated event website at www.favershamfestivaloftransport.org with hyperlink to sponsor’s website.
- Use of the festival’s logo for use on sponsor’s websites and stationery.
- Sponsors name will be included on a trophy.
- Sponsors logo used on printed promotional material, flyers, posters, etc.
- Frequent mentions over the PA system on the day of the car show.
- Sponsor promoted throughout Faversham Festival of Transport, Faversham Town Council and Visit Faversham social media pages.
Basic Package £250 + VAT
Each Basic sponsor will receive the following benefits:
- Sponsor promoted on the lead up to the event on Faversham Festival of Transport, Faversham Town Council and Visit Faversham social media pages.

- Sponsors logo used on printed promotional material, flyers, posters, etc.

Banner Package £100 + VAT
Your business logo displayed on a 5ft x 3ft banner which will be displayed on one of the entrances to the festival.
If you purchased a banner last year, the cost will be reduced to £50 + VAT as last year’s banner will be reused.
