Faversham Town Council is proud to be participating in the Kent Association of Local Councils (KALC) Community Awards Scheme 2026, supported by Kent County Council, the High Sheriff of Kent, and the Mayor of Medway.
This prestigious award recognises individuals or groups who have made a significant contribution to the local community, whether through long-standing service, inspiring achievements, or actions that have brought benefit and recognition to Faversham and its residents.
π Who Can Be Nominated?
Any individual or group who lives or works within the Faversham Town Council boundary and has made a meaningful impact on the community is eligible. Please note that campaign groups are not eligible.
π Award Presentation
This year, we are delighted to announce that the awards will be presented at a special celebration evening hosted by the High Sheriff of Kent, Jonathan Neame, at the Shepherd Neame Brewery on Wednesday 8th April 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to honour local heroes in a truly memorable setting.
π How to Nominate
To nominate someone for the award:
- Complete the online nomination form here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KALC2026
- Collect a paper copy from the Visitor Information Centre at 12 Market Place, Faversham.
- Complete the form in the Faversham Town Council Winter 2025 Newsletter coming through your door soon!
Only one nomination per resident is allowed, but all adult members of a household may submit their own nomination.

All nominations must be submitted by Tuesday 6th January 2026.
