Temporary Road Closure – Various Roads, Faversham – 4th April 2022 (Swale District)
It will be necessary to close various roads in Faversham from 4th April 2022, with estimated completion by 25th July 2022.
The works will be carried out in phases, as detailed below.
Oare Road, Faversham
Phase 1 – from 4th April 2022, with estimated completion by 15th April 2022.
Oare Road, Faversham will be closed between the junctions with Ham Road and Lakeside Avenue, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Phase 2 – from 30th May 2022, with estimated completion by 6th June 2022.
Oare Road, Faversham will be closed between the junctions with Lakeside Avenue and Seagar Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for both phases of works is via The Street, Western Link, Bysing Wood Road, Davington Hill, Priory Row and vice versa.
Giruad Drive & Wells Way, Faversham
Giruad Drive & Wells Way, Faversham will be closed from 14th April 2022, with estimated completion by 16th June 2022.
Giraud Drive, Faversham will be closed between the junctions with Bysing Wood Road and Wells Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Wells Way, Faversham will be closed between the junctions with Giraud Drive and Churchill Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for both closures is via Churchill Way, Bysing Wood Road, Everard Way and vice versa.
Everard Way, Faversham
Everard Way, Faversham will be closed from 27th June 2022, with estimated completion by 25th July 2022.
Everard Way, Faversham will be closed between the junctions with Bysing Wood Road and Wells Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Wells Way, Giraud Drive, Bysing Wood Road and vice versa.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by SGN.
