Temporary Road Closure – Preston Street, Faversham – 14th March 2022 (Swale District)

It will be necessary to close part of Preston Street, Faversham from 14th March 2022, with estimated completion by 21st March 2022.

Preston Street, Faversham will be closed in the general vicinity of number 66, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for through traffic travelling southbound is via Preston Street, B2041 Forbes Road, Briton Road, Saxon Road and Stone Street.

The alternative route for through traffic travelling northbound is via Stone Street, B2040 South Street, North Lane, Conduit Street, Quay Lane, Crescent Road, B2041 Newton Road, Station Road and Preston Street.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a new gas service are undertaken by SGN.
