Temporary Road Closure – Monkshill Road, Hernhill – 15th February 2022

Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Monkshill Road, Hernhill from 15th February 2022 at 22:00, with estimated completion by 16th February 2022 at 06:00.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of the level crossing, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Monkshill Road, Seasalter Road, Head Hill Road, Head Hill, Whitstable Road, Thanet Way Slip, A299 Thanet Way, Highstreet Road and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail maintenance & other associated works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
