Temporary Road Closure – Faversham Road, Seasalter – 7th September 2022 

It will be necessary to close part of Faversham Road, Seasalter, from 22:00 hours on 7th September 2022 with estimated completion by 06:00 hours on 8th September 2022.

Faversham Road, Seasalter, will be closed for approximately 20 metres either side of the rail bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Westbound traffic is via Faversham Road, Joy Lane,  B2205 Borstal Hill, A290 Clapham Hill, A299 Westbound Slip Onto A299 From Wraik Hill Roundabout, A299 Thanet Way, A299 Thanet Way Slip, Staple Street, Staple Street Road, Head Hill, Head Hill Road and Seasalter Road.

The alternative route for any Eastbound traffic is via Faversham Road, Seasalter Road, Head Hill Road, Head Hill, Whitstable Road, A299 Thanet Way Slip, A299 Thanet Way, A299 Thanet Way Slip, A2990 Thanet Way, B2205 Bortsal Hill and Joy Lane.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
